The Czech Association of Chen Tai Ji Quan was founded in 2003 in Brno under the patronage of Grandmaster Chen Shi Hong by Pavel Hlavoň and David Pirochta, who have been his private students for many years (since 1995). In 2007, both were awarded the status of Master – Sifu by the Austrian-Chinese Association of Chen Tai Ji Quan and Grandmaster Chen Xiaowang.

The Association also has a branch in Hodonín – Centrum Kulatá brána. The school in Hodonin is run by Míša Macáková – a long-time private student of Pavel Hlavoň.
